2nd Circ. Shoots Down Bid To Protect Cormorants

Law360, New York (August 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- To the chagrin of bird lovers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and other agencies have won an appeal to impose a depredation order that lets them trap double-crested cormorants where populations of the bird threaten to deplete public resources.
