Fed. Circ. Vacates Shoe Display Patent Ruling

Law360, New York (August 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has tossed a lower court's decision in a patent battle between two off-price shoe retailers over store display methods, ruling in part that certain claims of a DSW Inc. patent were not correctly construed.

DSW Inc. had appealed a decision handed down by the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California that said Shoe Pavilion had not infringed a DSW patent.
