Drug Disposal Methods May Get EPA Regulation

Law360, New York (August 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The methods that hospitals and other health care facilities use to dispose of unused pharmaceuticals may soon be regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in order to address concerns that significant levels of pharmaceuticals are showing up in U.S. drinking water.
