Judge Doesn't Mince Words In Wal-Mart Grinder Case

Law360, New York (August 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge overseeing a case over a purportedly defective grinder has partially shot down Wal-Mart Texas' request to have the suit dismissed, allowing the product liability to proceed on a number of key claims.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge A. Fish partially rejected Wal-Mart's bid for summary judgment, allowing plaintiff Randy Jackson to press forward with some of his allegations.
