Trustee Wants Levitz Converted To Ch. 7

Law360, New York (August 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. trustee in the Levitz Furniture Inc. bankruptcy case on Tuesday filed a memorandum in support of her motion to convert the case from Chapter 11 reorganization to Chapter 7 liquidation.

In the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, U.S. Trustee Diana G. Adams told the judge that the furniture company failed to file an updated disclosure plan — due in March — and still hasn't.
