Aloha Judge Signs Off On Payouts

Law360, New York (August 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Hawaii court overseeing the Aloha Airlines bankruptcy case has signed off on a pair of motions brought by the Chapter 7 trustee as the beleaguered airline continues to tie up some loose ends as it liquidates.

On Wednesday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Lloyd King endorsed the Chapter 7 trustee's proposed pay-off agreement with Continental Airlines and a reimbursement of certain employee expenses, calling both motions in the best interests of the debtor.
