Booz Allen Hamilton To Help Struggling Delphi

Law360, New York (May 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge gave troubled auto parts supplier Delphi Corp. the go-ahead Tuesday to hire a consultant to continue with the company’s restructuring plan.

Judge Robert Drain said Tuesday that Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. would continue to help Delphi with its plans to save $450 million a year. Changes will include a workforce reduction and some production elimination.

Delphi hopes to emerge from Chapter 11 proceedings by the first half of 2007.
