DOI Pushes To Toss Hunters' Suit Over Polar Bears

Law360, New York (September 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior has asked a district court to toss a lawsuit challenging a statement it made in a rule naming the polar bear a threatened species and banning the import of sport-hunted polar bear trophies from Canada.
