Law360, New York (September 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A New York judge has reportedly awarded $8.6 million to a man and his son who were injured in a Ford Explorer rollover accident after ruling that a jury had failed to consider the “extreme emotional distress” caused by the tragedy, reversing an earlier decision that Ford Motor Co. wasn't liable for their injuries or the death of another son.
