Wells Fargo Engineers Win Conditional Certification

Law360 (September 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has granted conditional certification to a collective action brought by a Wells Fargo & Co. engineer who alleges that he and similarly situated employees were not fully paid for all of the hours they worked.

Judge Claudia Wilken, of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, ruled on Wednesday that Wells Fargo employees who held the positions of PC/LAN Engineer 3, 4 or 5 since Nov. 1, 2004, should receive notice that they may opt into the collective action....
