USIS' New Complaint Withstands Dismissal Bid

Law360 (September 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The judge overseeing U.S. Information Systems Inc.'s antitrust case against a labor union and several electrical subcontractors has sustained the most recent incarnation of USIS' complaint after dismissing a previous version in June, but the union's counsel still insists the case is baseless.

Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York handed down a 25-page opinion on Tuesday denying a dismissal bid from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 3, AFL-CIO, and the other defendants.
