Sprint Loses Bid To Toss Sales Rep Wage Case

Law360, New York (September 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has dashed a bid by Sprint Nextel Corp. to toss a class action brought by a group of sales representatives who sued to collect allegedly unpaid commissions.

Judge John Lungstrum of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas on Tuesday denied Sprint's motion to dismiss the case in an order that follows a similar ruling in early August by Judge Kathryn Vratil, who tossed some allegations from a parallel suit but left actionable claims under the state's Wage Payment Act....
