Funds Fight Lead Plaintiff Choice For Suits V. Citigroup

Law360, New York (September 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two plaintiffs are challenging a district judge's move to name ATD Group as the lead plaintiff in a group of class actions alleging that Citigroup Inc. made misleading and inaccurate statements about its exposure to subprime mortgages.

In a motion filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the Public Employees' Retirement Association of Colorado and the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System ask the court to order discovery to determine whether ATD Group can serve as an adequate lead plaintiff....
