Unsealed Evidence Makes Waves In Rambus Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (June 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rambus Inc. has released recently unsealed e-mails exchanged between its competitors that purportedly bolster its arguments in the antitrust suit it filed in northern California. But defendants in the case say the e-mails are not a smoking gun.

Rambus’ suit alleges that rival technology companies tried to muscle Rambus’ memory technology out of the market by colluding to keep prices for their competing products artificially low.
