FTC Seeks More Info On Dow's $15B Rohm & Haas Deal

Law360, New York (September 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Dow Chemical Co. said Friday it has received a request for additional information from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission regarding its proposed $15 billion acquisition of specialty chemicals maker Rohm and Haas Co.

Dow said the agency's request for additional information from the FTC was a “normal and expected” part of the regulatory process under antitrust rules.
