Natural Health Execs Settle $2M Fraud Suit With SEC

Law360, New York (September 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two former officers at Natural Health Trends Corp. have agreed to settle a lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, which accused the defendants of netting roughly $2.5 million in secret payments from one of the company’s distributors.

Mark Woodburn, Natural Health’s former president, and Terry LaCore, the former CEO of the company’s main subsidiary, settled the agency’s allegations that they accepted millions of dollars from NHT’s top distributor for four years, until 2005.
