Court Rules for Allergan in Suit Vs. Apotex Over Acular

Law360 (January 2, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has ruled in favor of Allergan and Syntex in their patent infringement suit against Canadian generic drug maker Apotex and Novex Pharma over Allergan's non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Acular.

U.S. District Court Judge Martin Jenkins held that the patent covering Acular is valid and enforceable against the defendants, according to Allergan.
