Advertising Group Objects To Google-Yahoo Deal

Law360, New York (September 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An advertising trade group with 400 members has come out against the online-search advertising pact between Yahoo Inc. and Google Inc., saying it is anti-competitive and will likely raise prices.

In a letter to Thomas O. Barnett, assistant attorney general at the U.S. Department of Justice, the Association of National Advertisers cited numerous objections to the Google-Yahoo deal, which is currently under review by the DOJ.
