SEC Taps Wilmer Hale Partner As Deputy Counsel

Law360, New York (June 5, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has tapped Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP partner Andrew N. Vollmer as the agency’s deputy general counsel.

Vollmer, who currently serves as vice chair of Wilmer Hale's securities department and previously served as one of two partners managing the firm's London office, has been a regular speaker on SEC and internal investigations at the Stanford Directors' College, the agency said.
