Pillsbury Winthrop Off The Hook In Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (September 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A real estate company that sued Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP for more than $50 million for legal malpractice during bankruptcy proceedings is out of luck, now that a federal court has granted the law firm's motion for summary judgment.

A lawyer for Capital Hill Group, which filed the malpractice suit in 2007, declined to say whether the company intends to appeal Friday's ruling issued by Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
