10th Circ. Revives Whistleblower Suit V. Kerr-McGee

Law360, New York (September 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.S. Department of the Interior whistleblower Bobby Maxwell scored a victory Wednesday when a federal appeals court threw out a district court ruling that it lacked jurisdiction over his qui tam suit accusing Kerr-McGee Oil & Gas Corp. of underpaying the U.S. government approximately $10 million in royalties.
