Creditors Committee Named In Lehman Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (September 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A U.S. trustee has appointed an official committee of unsecured creditors in the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., and a bankruptcy judge has granted several first-day motions by the collapsed investment bank.

The committee will consist of Wilmington Trust Co., acting as an indenture trustee; the Bank of NY Mellon; Shinsei Bank Ltd.; Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd.; the Royal Bank of Scotland PLC; Metlife; and RR Donnelley & Sons, according to a filing Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New...
