Employers Loosening Grip On Web Surfing: Survey

Law360, New York (September 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- With tech-savvy Generation Y-ers playing an increasing role in today's work force, employers are loosening their stance on personal Internet use at work, a new survey has found.

Fifty-seven percent of the 250 advertising and marketing executives surveyed by The Creative Group, a New York-based staffing firm, said that surfing the Internet during working hours was acceptable.
