Missing Lake Shore Principal Slapped With Injunction

Law360, New York (September 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- With his whereabouts unknown, the Chicago district court has entered a default judgment against Phillip J. Baker, the principal of Lake Shore Asset Management who disappeared after allegations arose that the commodity pool operator defrauded investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars.

On Wednesday, the U.S. District Judge Blanche Manning entered a permanent injunction and default judgment against Baker, who smuggled himself out of London last year and remains at large today.
