DOL Drops Audit Of Fragomen's Green Card Cases

Law360, New York (September 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A standoff between the U.S. Department of Labor and Fragomen Del Ray Bernsen & Loewy LLP has come to an end, with the agency abandoning its audit of all permanent labor certification applications filed by the immigration law firm. The audit had stemmed from DOL allegations that Fragomen illegally directed certain clients to consult with attorneys before hiring U.S. workers.
