Davis Polk Hires SEC Commissioner

Law360, New York (September 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a turbulent time for financial institutions, Davis Polk & Wardwell has scored a major staffing victory, bringing former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissioner Annette Nazareth back to the law firm where she began her career as an associate in 1981.

Nazareth left the firm in 1986, but on Monday she started as a partner in Davis Polk's financial institutions group, working out of the firm's Washington, D.C., office.
