No Quick Win For Corepharma In Epilepsy Drug Fight

Law360 (September 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has refused to grant summary judgment to defendant generic-drug maker Corepharma LLC in a patent dispute with Shire Laboratories Inc. over a generic version of the anti-seizure drug Carbatrol.

In denying the motion in U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Monday, Judge Stanley R. Chesler cited "genuine issues as to material facts" that preclude an early judgment of noninfringement.
