GM Sued Over Failure Of Analog OnStar Systems

Law360, New York (September 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- General Motors Corp. has been hit with a proposed class action over the switch of its OnStar vehicle navigation units from an analog system to a digital one, which caused tens of thousands of the devices to stop working.

Gladys Butler of Cleveland, the owner of an OnStar-equipped 2002 Buick Park Avenue Ultra, filed the suit Friday in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
