Adidas Sues Skechers Over 'Assault' On Trademark Rights
Law360, New York (September 16, 2015, 2:21 PM EDT) -- Adidas AG has filed yet another trademark lawsuit, this time accusing Skechers USA Inc. of capping off years of infringement with an “unabashed assault” on the company's intellectual property rights.

The German sportswear giant has been on a trademark litigation rampage of late, filing separate suits over the past five months against designer Marc Jacobs, fast-fashion chain Forever 21 and retailer Sears Roebuck and Co. — mostly over the company's closely guarded three-stripe logo.
