Sierra Club Tops List Of Court-Happy Greens

Law360 (September 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Sierra Club has filed the most lawsuits of any conservation group over the last five years, followed closely by the Center for Biological Diversity, according to Law360's survey of the most active plaintiffs in environmental disputes.

The survey, which looked at all federal environmental cases filed from August 2003 to July 2008, found that the Sierra Club was a plaintiff in 201 lawsuits over that time period. The Center for Biological Diversity was second on the list with 183 suits, followed by the Natural Resources...
