Landowners Denied Challenge To Sunoco Pa. Pipeline

Law360, Philadelphia (October 1, 2015, 6:29 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania state court judge has thrown out three Cumberland County landowners’ challenges to a Sunoco Logistics Partners LP subsidiary’s exercise of eminent domain for its ongoing Mariner East pipeline project.

In a one-page order from Tuesday, Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas Judge Edward Guido overruled preliminary objections by the three groups of landowners to the two pipelines that make up Mariner East 2, which are together part of a larger $3 billion project.
