Law360, Wilmington (October 8, 2015, 12:25 PM EDT) -- Outdoor lighting manufacturer Malibu Lighting Corp. and two affiliates filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Delaware bankruptcy court on Thursday, with a $37 million bid in hand for one of the three and plans to liquidate the other two after a relationship with main buyer Home Depot ended.
Malibu, a maker of outdoor and landscape lights, and Outdoor Direct Corp., a maker of grills and outdoor cookers, stopped receiving business from Home Depot this summer, according to Chief Restructuring Officer David Baker, who has been detailed to Malibu from Aurora Management Partners.
