US Appeal Over Tribe's Mining Lease Gets Cert

Law360 (October 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court granted certiorari on Wednesday to the federal government's appeal of a ruling that could leave it liable for $600 million in damages to the Navajo Nation, agreeing to once again weigh in on a mining lease dispute.
