Judge Clears $200M Deal In Fuel Surcharge Case

Law360, New York (October 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Brushing aside objections from U.K. plaintiffs, a federal judge has paved the way for British Airways PLC and Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd. to pay about $200 million to U.S. and U.K. passengers to resolve a 2006 antitrust class action over the alleged fixing of fuel prices on international flights.
