Dispute Heats Up Over Frontier’s Union Contracts

Law360, New York (October 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Frontier Airlines has reached a tentative agreement with its dispatchers’ union for wage and benefit concessions, but a similar battle with its mechanics and maintenance workers’ union has grown more contentious.

The agreement between the bankrupt airline and the Transportation Workers Union, which represents Frontier’s dispatchers, was announced Thursday. If approved by the court, it will run through September 2012.
