Judge Remands Flash Memory Patent Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (October 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed one suit against Mount & Stoelker PC and remanded another to California state court in a dispute over the law firm's representation of C-One Technology Corp. and the now-defunct Pretec Electronics Corp. in SanDisk Corp.'s flash memory patent litigation.

Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Friday for Mount & Stoelker on both its motions and rejected as moot an attempt by C-One to consolidate the two suits.
