Freshfields Names New Competition Heads

Law360 (June 26, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Having worked hard in recent years to establish itself as one of the top antitrust practices, international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is now looking to a new pair of lawyers to help build upon that success.

The firm announced the appointment of David Aitman and Helmut Bergmann as co-heads of the antitrust, competition and trade group on Friday. The duo will take the helm on Aug. 1.

Aitman and Bergmann will succeed Frank Montag and Deirdre Trapp, who have led the group since August 2000....
