Activists' Salmon Harvest Victory May Be Too Late

Law360, New York (October 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Conservation groups concerned that Canada is harvesting too much endangered and threatened salmon got a green light on Wednesday from a federal appeals court to challenge some aspects of the Pacific Salmon Treaty of 1999 – but that treaty has since been renegotiated by Canada and the United States.
