Cosco Requests Relief From Automatic Stay

Law360 (June 27, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Dorel Juvenile Group Inc.’s Cosco unit has asked a federal judge to allow the continuation of its patent infringement lawsuit against recently bankrupt ladder maker Werner Co.

In its Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware, Cosco argued that an automatic stay should not apply in this case because a ruling in its favor would actually benefit both companies.
