Target Workers Closer To Unionizing As NLRB Won't Undo Vote

Law360, Los Angeles (November 4, 2015, 11:25 PM EST) -- The National Labor Relations Board on Wednesday refused to block Target Corp. pharmacists from forming the company’s first-ever union, denying Target’s arguments that it cut ties with the workers in a $1.9 billion acquisition deal with CVS Health Corp.

In a brief order that wasn’t accompanied by an opinion, the NLRB ruled that Target had raised no substantial issues warranting review in its request that the court invalidate the pharmacists’ September vote favoring unionization.
