SeraCare’s Shareholders Want Meeting With Company

Law360, New York (June 28, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- SeraCare Life Sciences Inc.’s ad hoc committee of equity holders is pushing for a shareholder meeting or an end to the bankrupt company’s exclusivity period, according to a motion it filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in San Diego.

The ad hoc committee, which comprises about 28.5% of SeraCare’s outstanding equity, wants the judge to lift an automatic stay that prevents it from continuing its dispute in California Superior Court.
