Frontier Union Votes Against Wage Concessions

Law360, New York (October 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The dispatchers union at bankrupt Frontier Airlines has rejected an agreement that would have called for wage and benefit concessions through September 2012.

Frontier, which is involved in contentious negotiations with all three of its unions, announced the tentative agreement earlier this month, saying it would help the company meet the cost targets required by its business plan.

But even though the union's management recommended ratification of the agreement, its members voted it down Friday by a 10-6 vote, according to Steve Snyder, a Frontier spokesman....
