DOJ Defies Constitution In KPMG Case, Judge Says

Law360, New York (June 28, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a decision that could affect future white collar cases, a district court judge in Manhattan ruled Tuesday that the government violated the constitutional rights of former KPMG LLP partners by pressuring the firm to not pay their legal fees.
