Get Ready For Antitrust Trial, Judge Tells Sanofi

Law360, New York (October 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday refused to grant Sanofi-Aventis U.S. LLC summary judgment in an antitrust class action brought by a drug wholesaler over an allegedly sham citizen petition designed to delay generic versions of an arthritis medication.

Judge Harold Baer of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York also denied Sanofi's motions to exclude an expert's testimony and to strike other pretrial responses and statements from the plaintiffs.
