EPA Seeks Final Settlement With NJ Plastics Maker

Law360, New York (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has asked a district court to approve a $1.3 million consent decree with plastics company Colorite Specialty Resins Inc. to settle a lawsuit over harmful emissions at a New Jersey manufacturing facility.

The EPA lodged an unopposed motion to enter the consent decree in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Wednesday, about three weeks after the public comment period in the Federal Register ended.
