Archway Hit With WARN Act Class Action

Law360 (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former worker for bankrupt Archway Cookies has filed a putative class action against the company, alleging Archway did not provide adequate warning before sudden layoffs earlier this month.

The suit seeks class certification for at least 400 former employees who were laid off when the company abruptly closed plants, according to the complaint filed Wednesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
