2nd Circ. Revives Houlihan Lokey's $16M Fee Bid

Law360, New York (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has kept alive a bid by Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin Capital to recoup $16 million it claims it is owed for work in the Chapter 11 case of XO Communications Inc., ordering the long-running fee fight back to bankruptcy court.

In a summary order issued Wednesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit remanded the case to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York with orders to send it back to the Manhattan bankruptcy court,...
