Court Shrinks Claims In Dow Corning Implant Scuffle

Law360, New York (October 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday gave Dow Corning Corp. a lift, ruling the leading silicone supplier is not liable for the rupture of breast implants manufactured by other companies. But the court let stand claims by 10 women that the supplier failed to warn implant makers about the dangers associated with its silicone products.
