Silicon Graphics Revamps Reorganization Plan

Law360, New York (July 5, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- On the heels of a global agreement reached last week with its unsecured creditors, Silicon Graphics Inc. filed an amended reorganization plan Monday, marking the latest step in the high-end computer manufacturer’s fast track towards exiting Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The plan and disclosure statement, filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, will provide recovery for a group of unsecured creditors not included in the company's initial reorganization plan.
