Pliant Fires Back At Ex-CEO

Law360, New York (July 5, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Embattled Pliant Corp. has asked a bankruptcy judge to toss out a request by its former chief executive to obtain $11.7 million that the packaging company allegedly owes him for the repurchase of some of its stock.

Last week, Pliant filed suit in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, seeking “a determination of the status and rights associated with the claim of Richard P. Durham and Durham Capital LLC.”
